Dog Walking Services

Dogs are natural pack animals and many love the company and experience of walking as a group. Our Group Dog Walks give your dog the chance to socialise and play in a pack as well as get some exercise. Inverness Pet Care matches all dogs on personality and physical capabilities to ensure a fun walk for all.
We understand that not all dogs enjoy or benefit from walking with other dogs; whether they are mature and enjoy the quiet life, or have little behaviour quirks that make it difficult to walk with other canine companions. We are happy to accommodate your needs if availability allows by taking your dog out alone, to ensure your dog has a happy and fun walk with that extra attention.

Pet Sitting
Holiday and short breaks.

If your on a holiday, short break, in hospital or just need someone to pop in and check on your pet then we can help. We offer a pet sitting service where your pet can live in the comfort of there own home whilst you are not there.
Due to having dogs of our own and children We do not Home board dogs as one of our services. Please make alternative arrangements for dog care while your on holiday.

We can visit your pet up to two times a day (morning, and evening), or once every couple of days. This service is completely tailored to you and your pets needs. During our visits we will check they are safe, feed, water, give lots of cuddles, let them out for the toilet, give medication, and clean cages, hutches, litter trays etc. For small caged animals we will provide fresh veg for them. We can even water your plants.
Our service gives you the peace of mind knowing someone is visiting your home every day when your away.

please note; We do not encourage owners to use the pet sitting service for dogs.

Doggy Pop-in service
Drop in service for puppies and elderly dogs.
​
Our Doggy Pop-in service is there for you and your dog when they don't need a full walk but need a bit of extra attention during the day. We can pop-in to Elderly dogs, Puppies, dogs recovering from illness or suffering from separation anxiety that would feel happier seeing a friendly face during the day.
A pop- in visit is tailored to suit your dogs needs, but can include: fresh water, food, medication, toileting, puppy clean up, cuddles, and play, any other requirements.

A normal pop in visit would last 30 mins, we can visit up to twice daily. Once your puppy has been fully vaccinated we can take them for short walks on the lead until they are confident enough to join our sociable group walks.

Welcome to Inverness Pet Care! I'm Lyndsey and I love dogs, cats, small and large house pets of most breeds.
I am the owner of Inverness Pet care, a local dog walking and pet care service within Inverness, Highlands and the surrounding area.
We specialise in Dog walking, Pet sitting, and Doggy pop -in day services.
Our goal is to provide a loving pet centred service tailored to you and your pets needs.

I am an experienced dog owner and have grown up around animals and the open countryside. I have cared for animals small and large, from Rats & Gerbils, Rabbits & Guinea Pigs, to Tortoises, Poultry, Horses, Cats & Dogs. I enjoy being among nature and love being outdoors whatever the weather!
My passion for animals has led me to work as a groom for a local horse livery yard, to study animal care at college and work as a vet nurse for a number of years. I am trained in Pet First aid, fully insured as a Dog Walker and Pet Sitter and have an enhanced disclosure through Disclosure Scotland.
At Inverness Pet care we know how much of a priority your pet is to you and pride ourselves on giving you a flexible, reliable service that you can depend on.
